I’ve installed Fedora 8 under Sun’s VirtualBox (a superb VM in my opinion). Actually I did it a while ago, but I did make some notes at the time, on how to make it look good. I’d really like to delete that file, so what better way than to publish :-).
I’ve been experimenting with Linux distros lately. It’s all because of this web hosting, this server I built. I used Fedora 8 due to it’s packages being reasonably up to date, having the features I want as standard, and being rather stable. Ubuntu looks good, but I would have had to manually install so much software that I need, that it would have been a pain.
