Jelly Jugs iPhone App

November 29th, 2009 by michael

Oh lament lament lament. I am still coming to terms with a review process that thinks wobbly bits are more offensive than people being brutally murdered. I think that this is a basic difference between Europeans and Americans that I will never understand.

Ok, I at least understand the bottom line. Apple is a business with an image to maintain, and so being paranoid about how people view things probably comes with the territory. I can respect their right to make these business decisions, but I cannot respect the way that they have gone about it. To quote “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it” (link).

So now I must re-group and come up with a new plan to get this app out there. On principle I cannot let this go.

I’m releasing an iPhone app called ‘Jelly Jugs’. The app page is here for the terminally curious.

It’s currently waiting for the app store review process, so in the mean time I wish to extend an offer. If you would like a FREE download, send me your email address and I’ll send a download code when it is released.

Please be aware though, you must own an iPhone/iPod touch to take advantage of this offer. Also, it is limited by the number of download codes Apple will let me have, or 10, which ever is the greater. And of course, if Apple does reject it, I won’t be able to send anything. So wish me luck while you’re at it.

My email is on the main blog page, or you can add a comment to this post.
