This site, along with my others, is now running on a VPS (Virtual Private Server). Yey!…   

Memory is tight, sooo.. I’ve

• dropped FTP support, as SCP works just fine.
• dropped fail2ban since it is a memory hog. Denyhosts will do for ssh only.
• tweeked stack sizes to reduce overheads.
• tweeked mysql to reduce memory usage.

While I wait for DNS to update, I’ve used xinetd to forward existing services to the new server. With luck this will be a mostly seemless transfer.
