Good people
There have been some super good people in the world… To name a few, Jesus, Gandhi, the Dalai Lama. I am sure there have been many more. They all preached love.
Jesus said that we must treat others as we would be treated ourselves… Love thy neighbour.
Ghandi preached a passive life. In regaining home rule for India he used a method of passive resistance.
One is thought of as the son of God, the other as a very wise man. Look to the Dalai Lama for a living breathing wise man that preaches a passive way of life… And see what they have in common.
A general recognition that defending peacful ideas with violence ultimately destroys them, and that we all want peace in our lives.
We must behave with integrity. We must show love to those around us. We must tolerate those that we hate. We must pity those less fortunate than ourselves. We must give out our hand to those in need.
It is only when we stop looking at ourselves, and start to look at the suffering of others with shame, and hope that it can change, only then can the world become a better place.
On the eternal cycle of life, we must evolve towards a state of nirvana… Do not give in to those emotions that can ultimately destroy us.
